Cloudexter collects customers’ data in the course of its key function of providing website and domain hosting.  customer’s data is of utmost importance to us and we take all the care to ensure that it is safely collected and used. This Privacy Policy describes the content that Cloudexter (also referred to hereinafter as “we” “our” or “us”) shall collect in the course of its business of hosting the customer’s website, including, but not limited to, the content (also referred variously as personal data/ information) shared by the customer, users and any other parties who would have any business to do with the customers, what we do with that content, how that content will be used and who will have access to this content.

Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.


Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.


Contact forms
All information that you fill in the contact form shall be stored with Cloudexter for an indefinite period.

Data in an aggregated format may be shared with companies and advertisers to indicate trends 

Cloudexter may also share your personal data with your consent to any other legal entity with your explicit permission, other than those mentioned herein or when it is required to do so by law without your permission under legal obligations whenever applicable. 

Cloudexter takes utmost care to ensure that our servers and devices where your data is stored are maintained safe and secure at all times. We also ensure that your personal data is verified by us before being accepted into our database to be safe from spam/bots/ unlawful activities. 

Cloudexter indemnifies itself from accidental loss of data due to situations beyond its reasonable control. In such cases, Cloudexter shall not be held liable for negligence or deliberate action in any case. 

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Certain parts of your data shall be retained by us for legal purposes, even after you have deactivated your account with us or upon expiry of agreement with us.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Upon accepting this Privacy Policy, you shall be bound by all its terms and conditions and may not raise any objections thereupon about one or several clauses herein. 

This Privacy Policy is subject to periodic changes / additions / deletions. You are required to check the same which shall be updated on the Cloudexter website from time to time. No independent communication shall be made regarding the same to you.
